GottaCruise18 Posted July 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2006 On Carnival, can the group babysitting fees be charged to your Sail & Sign card? I don't want to bring along a lot of cash, but we hope to use the babysitting option for a <2 year old at least one night on our week-long cruise. How do you pay tips to the babysitters? If it goes on the card, how do you know that your specific babysitter gets it? How much have you paid?

As far as tips, there's usually a box outside Camp Carnival on the last day that you can put tips in...the tips are split between all of the counselors. I don't know if you can give a tip to just one counselor...I attempted that one time and the counselor told me it would go into their tip pool. As far as the amount for tips, it depends on how much time DD spends in Camp Carnival. If she spends a lot of time there (usually) then I tip between $60 and $100 for the week. Cheers!
