Can anyone tell me what the taxi fare from Charlotte Amalie to Magens Bay would be.

 

Also from the Port to Mahogany Run?

I would also like to know the going rate for renting a trolley bus to go to mountaintop and then to Magen's Bay.

Shared taxi, from CA to Magens Bay is $8 per person, one way.

 

Havensight to Mountain Top also $8

 

Havensight to Mahogany Run $8

Sorry! By trolley bus, I meant the open-air busses. Five or so years ago, seven of us rented one from CA (we were the only passengers). The driver was kind enough to take us to a local convenience store, where we bough a styrofoam cooler and some cold beverages for the ride. Then he brought us to Mountaintop, and then to Magen's Bay. The driver played cards with some other drivers while waiting for us at the beach. Then he brought us back to the ship terminal. It was my first island experience, and still one of my favorites...

 

I cannot recall how much it cost pp, but I do know it was relatively inexpensive. I was just wondering if someone could give me a ballpark figure.
