Embarkation time at Red Hook?

We were there about 11:30 and were able to get on the ship immediately. Our friends got there about 12:30 and had to wait 30-45 minutes due to rough waters causing the ship to bounce back and forth against the gangways. On most cruises I've been on, we've been able to get on the ship before noon w/o any problem.

Have a great cruise!

We parked at Red Hook at 12 Noon. We boarded the Crown at 12:30 P.M.

Customs & Immigration really has the power to say when the previous passengers can disembark. On some other cruises, we've had to wait for them to get the ok to disembark so that delayed embarkation for the new passengers.

Red Hook was a pleasure regarding embarkation, debarkation, and parking. It was $164, including tax, for the parking on a 9 day sailing. We were about the middle of the people getting off the ship. We were in our car at 9:50 A.M.

Our cabin was starboard so we faced the Statue of Liberty going & returning.

Hope this info is helpful.
