ylcruiser Posted August 15, 2006 #26 Share Posted August 15, 2006 I HIGHLY suggest bringing a clear pocket shoe bag to hang on the back of the bathroom door. There is a major lack of counter space, even in the suites' bathrooms. It keeps things organized and easily accessable.... Another useful thing if traveling with your family is highlighters. One color for each member. We keep a Carnival Caper (daily list of activities) in a central location. Each of us highlights what activites we're planning on attending. If you would like to catch up with one of your party you just look at the schedule for their highlight color.... May sound restricting but with kids especially, it's really useful... seashell36 Posted August 15, 2006 #27 Share Posted August 15, 2006 You can get the lanyard to wear your sail & sign card on in the casino. Just go to the cashier after they open and ask for a lanyard. - Make sure you pack a light jacket or sweater. It can get chilly in the showroom and dining room. - You can order 2 (or 3) of one or different appetizers. You can have another appetizer instead of a salad. Or different main courses. - If you don't like any of the entree's offered you can order a grilled chicken breast or steak.
jayscore Posted August 16, 2006 #28 Share Posted August 16, 2006 Think of all the stuff you want to bring; put it on a list. Then cut out half of the stuff on the list, and you'll still have too much. If you're short on clothes, blow a couple hours in the laundry. A bottle of Febreeze and wrinkle spray goes a long way, too. My wife hates to pack light, but really appreciates it all when you have to haul all the luggage coming and going.
