Sunnystone Posted August 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 21, 2006 We are looking forward to our stop in Bermuda but will be arriving on a Sunday. As we have read, most of the shops, et al are closed on Sundays. From those who know, any suggestions for a first time visitor? Thanks !
crzncrze Posted August 29, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 29, 2006 Hi there, It's true that many of the retail stores are closed on Sundays. Depending on where your ship will be berthed and what time of the year you will be arriving, you could always sightsee or go to the beach. Enjoy your visit! Bell Ringer Posted August 31, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2006 http://www.bermudatourism.com/209.aspx Download the brochure "Sightseeing" from this website which will give you lots of places to go and things to do. If it says Daily on the hours, it means open 7 days a week . I think I suggested on another recent ? about Sunday activities to consider visiting one of the churches for services if you like and just head to the beach after lunch. But there are quite a few interesting activities open on Sunday. If you must spend some money, the Crafts area at the Dockyards is open.:D
