Car Rental???

Hubby and I are wanting to explore the island and check out some remote beaches to snorkel from. Does anyone know what car rental companies are at the pier. how much should we expect to pay? any beach recomendations for good snorkeling from the shore? We prefer not to go with ship sponsored excursions as we don't like being in a crowd, and we want to be able to come and go from the ship at lunch without any waiting for others. We'll be in port on October 11th.

If you arrive on AOS you will find Avis at the dock. If Norwegian Sun, any car rental will bring the car to the docking area. I think rental is ± $70.
