mountainmare Posted September 23, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 23, 2006 Okay--I'm officially excited. We leave in 9 days for Barcelona and I have been glued to Bridge cam for over a year. I waved goodbye to the Millie when she left Ft Lauderdale for Europe this spring and now I would love to great her as she comes into Barcelona Oct 4. Does anyone know where we can go to see her sail in? Can we see it from the top of the Columbus statue? Last year we were on the ferry after our Oosterdam cruise and were able to say goodbye as she left with new people (they even let new people in our cabin--on our balcony--imagine!!!) and it was very cool. BTW--Hajekfam (I probably spelled you wrong) we are the "new people" in your TA cabin as of Oct 5!!!
cozzello Posted September 24, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 24, 2006 Wow nine days, I hope that you have a wonderful cruise and that you will share your experiences when you return. I will be watching the webcam while you are on board. Enjoy! We sail the Venice to Barcelona route next June.
megabill Posted September 24, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 24, 2006 I haven't been to the top of the Columbus Monument myself, so I wouldn't put my money on it, but it might be possible to see the ML from there. Its only about a 20-30 minute walk from the Columbus Monument to Moll Adossat, where she usually docks. I imagine that that translates to just 1 or 2 KM
