slotaddict Posted September 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2006 I just read on RCL's board that a passenger on the Zenith drowned at Horseshoe Bay. How sad? My thoughts and prayers to that persons family.
cat616 Posted September 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2006 There have been no reports of a drowning in the Bermuda newspapers. We did have rip tides last week which resulted in a large number of people needing to be rescued by the Lifeguards. Every one was rescued and the Lifeguards are safe. This is as per the local newspapers - they are seldom completly accurate but I am sure they would not have overlooked a fatal drowning. slotaddict Posted September 25, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted September 25, 2006 I just read it one the RCL board, someone was doing a review of the Empress of the Sea and mentioned it. Usually when something of that magnitude happens it is all over these boards, I thought it was unusual that there was no mention of it.
cat616 Posted September 25, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2006 Hi Slotaddict, Well, you know how rumours start.... I went to the RCCl site and have tried to stop the rumour. We shall see how that goes. Happy Travels Cindy
dolfinmusic Posted September 25, 2006 #5 Share Posted September 25, 2006 Sorry - I was the one that posted that I heard someone drowned. I should have specified that I heard it only and did not know for a fact. My fault. My brain is still on the ship plus first day back to work. Didn't mean to start anything. slotaddict Posted September 25, 2006 Author #7 Share Posted September 25, 2006 Sorry - I was the one that posted that I heard someone drowned. I should have specified that I heard it only and did not know for a fact. My fault. My brain is still on the ship plus first day back to work. Didn't mean to start anything. Not a problem. I'm sure if I heard that while I was on my cruise, I would have posted the same thing.
