newbie to NCL

first cruise ever on NCL DAWN in june 07 and would appreciate any advice at all, posted before but know booked and coming from HAL and extremely happy with HAL but they don`t have any sailings out of NYC and the DAWN looked extremely appealing. also anything about the owners suite would be helpful as well as the private island. thanks to all in advance.
