Golf in Jamaica

We'll be on the 7/30 VOS and my dad and son want to golf in Jamaica. Has anyone done the excursion from the ship? They're trying to decide between Sandals and Runaway Bay. Any comments or advice?

We are glad they went with the ship's excursion, although expensive, as the escort seemed a good idea - they were a bit intimidated by the caddy/guard that watched the area like a hawk, and the fellows off the side of the course with the machine guns were a bit much for them too. But all in all, they played golf in Jamaica!

I thought it was expensive too, but if it makes them happy...! Which course did your family play at? The ship offers two options.
