vrystaat Posted October 3, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2006 Are there any best hotels to stay in Ft Lauderdale that are close to the port? I hear that embarcation is a hassle, & takes up to 3 hours. Any hints? What are the CY3 cabins like (seaview, no balcony) Thanks :)

I have stayed over on the beachside (there are three Sheratons there of varying costs. I think we stayed at Yankee Trader) but all of it is pretty close to the port. Try googling the Port Everglades web site. they have lots of good info on that site. Karie, too lazy to look it up right now after working 13 hours today. Should we really be prepared for 3 houors. We have sailed out of Ft Lauderdale before, and don't recall any issues with embarkation. Thanks!
