Beach Towels provided?

First time on NCL coming up in 18 days (Dawn):D

 

Does NCL provide beach towels? I know Celebrity had special towels for the beach (for which they would charge you if they weren't returned!), and also special towels in the pool area.

 

Is Norwegian the same?

Basically the same. They do not bring towels to the cabin for beach/pool use, you have to get them at the pool area. If you are taking them off the ship for an excursion, you have to sign them out and return them or you will be charged a fee.

On the Spirit this past August we went to the Centrum/Atrium area on Deck 7 near the Reception Desk to sign for our beach towels/shore excursion towels that we were taking ashore. They were the same as the pool towels. On port days, these are the massive bins of pool towels that are usually by the pool.

 

When we returned from port we left the used towels with a staff person along with the copy of the the slip receipt. The staff was just inside the gangway on deck 4 when we returned.

 

NCL also sold bottles of water at the same area on deck 7 if you wanted/needed some.

 

They said that they charged your on-board account for for each towel not returned.
