Explorer of the Sea, Cabin Selecting

Need advise, thinking about selecting a cabin around the hump, deck 8, anyone know what the noise levels are like seening that the cabins are located near the stairwell and elevator...

sull ~~~ I always get the rooms on the hump, and right across from the elevator banks. Never a sound!!! They are great rooms to have, and if you have the chance, GRAB THEM!!

We have only stayed in the interior staterooms, but have heard nothing but good things about the hump cabins. They are some of the most coveted cabins along with aft cabins. So, I would say go for it.

We just stayed in 8328, right at the end of the hump, it was a great room, no noise. very convienent.

Leonard, Carol H. here....don't forget to give your travel agent your Crown and Anchor numbers (I think you told me you joined after our Serenade cruise) so she can include them in your reservation and you will get the goodies you are entitled to!

Check out Explorer of the Seas Member reviews by "letsparty". They did a B2B and had to change their hump cabin because of the noise that was made by people waiting for the elevator late at night.
