DGF Posted October 29, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 29, 2006 We are planning to use the terminal parking for a cruise from Port Everglades/ Ft. Lauderdale this November 25, 06 Question- Is there ample parking available? Or should we be arriving early on the day of departure. Any other advice welcome Thank you
TomKel Posted October 29, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 29, 2006 Parking at Ft. Lauderdale is NOT a problem. We've done it several times, as we live within 1 day travel time. We drive up to the pier, drop off our bags, drive to a nearby parking garage, and walk back to the pier. Piece of cake. Have fun.
MattInFLL Posted October 30, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2006 I've parked there twice, both days when the port was full of ships, and didn't have a problem either time. But one thing - if I remember correctly - they only accept cash. I could be wrong on that, but be prepared. Everything you need to know is here at the Broward County web site: http://www.broward.org/port/cruise.htm Usually, there's a calendar link so you can see what other ships will be in port that day, and what berth you're scheduled to have. QM2 is usually berthed mid port, right near the garage.
