champton18 Posted November 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2006 I (8 of us traveling together) have back to back cruises on Freedom of the Seas arriving December 31 and then leaving on Explorer of the Seas the afternoon of December 31. Does any know anything about the Royal Carribbean Terminal area? I need to figure out to get from one ship to the other with luggage. Does Royal Caribbean use the same building for all their ships or do they have different buildings and if so how far apart are they? Can we walk? wrp96 Posted November 7, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 7, 2006 RCCL has two terminals in one building in Miami. Once you get off Freedom and exit the building, you will just need to walk down a covered sidewalk to get to the other terminal.
champton18 Posted November 7, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted November 7, 2006 Thank you so much for the quick reply. I've been trying to get all the transportation for this trip put together. (We are coming from Alaska on Dec 20 and staying in Key Largo for a few days) This is one less thing I have to schedule transportion for.
wrp96 Posted November 7, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 7, 2006 Oh I understand. I grew up in Anchorage. With that long of a trip you definitely want to make the whole trip perfect (and worth it).
champton18 Posted November 8, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted November 8, 2006 How funny that you were raised in Anchorage. We live in Wasilla and have been here since 1981. We are having a cold start to winter this year as it has been staying about 0 degrees at nights for over a week. I'm sure you are much warmer. Thanks again. wrp96 Posted November 8, 2006 #6 Share Posted November 8, 2006 Yes, much warmer down here. We're supposed to get back into the 70s this week after having been down to freezing this week. Haven't been back to Anchorage in a few years, really miss it.
