Adventure of the Seas- Southern- Best Excursions

Hello all!

 

Doing this cruise end of February and looking for your suggestions for the best excursions at our stops (St Thomas, St Martin, Aruba and Curacao). Would appreciate your suggestions!

Going to the aquarium in Curacao is incredible! In St. Maarten, we took the Rhino Rider tour. They are like jet skis only nearly impossible to tip over. Took a tour of the harbor with all the yachts, then out onto the open water. Lots of fun! I'm going to do them wherever they are offered on our next cruise.

St Maarten, do not miss the America's cup regatta, they use the actual boats from the races and you get to work the boat. We did it many years ago and it still remains one of our favorites.

Yes, we heard of this excursion. Do you recommend booking this through the cruiseline or on your own?

We also did it years ago and it is still our favorite---book through the cruise line!!!

The most fun excursion we have ever been on was the kookoo kunuko (sp) bus on Aruba you go to the lighthouse to watch the sun set then to a local place for dinner then bar hopping. all the time riding on this goofy bus and shaking marracas.

The jeep safari on Aruba was alot of fun too. You drive around the island in your own jeep checking out a lot of sites.
