NCL Only Offering in the Summer- Why?

We have been thinking about this for a while. Why is NCL the only major cruiseline that does Hawaiian cruises in the summer?

Is there something we're missing... like monsoons that are in Hawaii in the summer or something?

Just curious about this, since NCL seems to have all of the Summer Hawaiian marketshare. Thanks!

Probably because more places are visitable in the summer. Alaska for example can only be visited for several months of the year...so some lines would rather take advantage of that tourist swell....then do Hawaii for the rest of the year.

People do not generally think to visit a hot place in the summer when they are living at a hot place...they want to visit when their home is cold.

Lines are going to follow the money....and the tourists.

Just my opinion.
