jewelry prices in Belize or Cozumel

I know that the prices for jewelry are cheaper in St Thomas and maybe in St Martin, but what about on the Western Carribean? We'll be in Belize, Cozumel and Costa Maya in Feb. and Im thinking about a late Christmas gift for my wife. Do you think that the price for a gold necklace with maybe a small diamond would be more reasonable there?
