2nd chance in Cozumel

I was in Cozumel in Oct. 06 and sadly didn't have a good experience there. We booked a side trip to go snorkeling and I got sea sick.....after we waited an extra 2 hours just to get on board to go....then found out it was almost cancelled....by the time we got back to shore we had to book it to make it back to the ship. I didn't have time to look even at one shop! I was very upset. I am giving Cozumel a 2nd chance because I just know that this time no snorkeling will be involved! LOL. I would like to know of some good shops to go to for jewelry/diamonds and maybe a resturant or 2.....I have heard of Carlos and Charlies as most of the group I was with last time got to go there and it might be a little to "lively" for myself and my parents. Any suggestions would be most appreicated! :)
