jewelry prices in Belize or Cozumel

We are going on the Sun this Feb 18 and were wondering if there are any good deals in Belize or Cozumel Nothing too fanc y, just maybe some gold bracelets

I've gotten some really good deals on silver in Cozumel. My hubby is a good bargainer.

 

Cozumel is an excellant shopping port for the Western Carribean.

 

I was in Belize a few years ago. 2003 I think. I didn't see any jewelery stores then (they may have been added since)

How much bargining can you do? If they say $100 can I get it for $80? Some ports are more flexible, like Martinique

Depends on the item and the shop. Last August in Cozumel I bought a white gold band, original price was $600, I paid $325 for it. They didn't want to come down on it tho (I was trying to haggle it down to $300). After I bought that, they tossed a ruby & diamond tennis bracelet at me, that one started at $2500, they had come down to $750 by the time I said my final no and left.
