Mariner rm 7658

We are booked in March to room 7658. We noticed on the ship layout there is a large area right behind our door where there are no rooms. Is this the room stewards cleaning area? If so, how noisy will this be?

It's either a housekeeping storage area or service elevators for crew only. In either case, there is a large heavy door that closes off that area from the hallway and you'll not hear anything.

We intentionally book a cabin near the forward elevator / stairs for the convenience and I can easily look down on Cafe Promenade to see my teens with their friends. I have never been bothered by noise, even when there is a parade or band on the Promenade. Before my first Mariner cruise, I worried about the noise associated with being so close to the elevator / stairs and it's not an issue. I liked it so much I seek out those cabins for the convenience!

Have a great cruise!

Rose
