Whittier to Anchorage Transfer

Hi Everyone

 

A friend is cruising with seven family members northbound Vancouver to Whittier on Carnival Spirit departing June 27th. She has reserved seats on the Alaskan Leopard shuttle to Anchorage. The ship arrives at 7:00am and the Shuttle leaves for Anchorage at 8:45am. She is concerned that her fairly large group may not disembark in time to catch their independent shuttle. Carnival has told her that she and her family may not keep their bags with them that last morning, they must let Carnival take them off the ship. Should she be worried? Any advice I can give her? Thanks so much.

You will find the Carnival ship arrives in Whittier around 1am. They need time to all the luggage off the ship.

We are booked for Alaskan Leopard also. The people at Alaskan Leopard told me they have never lefft a person behind even though they are on a schedule.

Transfered with them last year after a Princess cruise and had no problems... I doubt they will leave without their passengers, especially if the company is aware of the concern.:)

 

 

Carnival has told her that she and her family may not keep their bags with them that last morning, they must let Carnival take them off the ship.

 

She may want to recheck that information. We have disembarked Carnival Spirit with all our luggage after cruising Alaska. However... rules may have changed.:rolleyes:
