Xpedition junior suite

We were in 507 in the fall of '05. IIRC there was a bottle of bubbly on ice when we arrived but since the trip is pretty all inclusive its not a big deal. We did enjoy the extra room afforded by the balcony, it's a good place to store the snorkel gear.

We also had a cricket in our room that came in through the open sliding glass door ... that was fun !

Trivia: All the rooms on that floor have (had?) nameplates of famous German rivers ... the Expedition was built as a German river boat. You'll note the lack of a keel when it bobs like a cork.

Without raising your expectations too high, this is a truly unique and wonderful experience. Enjoy!

The only other thing we had besides the champagne was hors d'oeuvres and a fruit bowl every afternoon. We were in cabin 504. I assume the jr. suites are treated the same as the regular ones? The balcony was the real plus. The hors d'oeuvres weren't that special because they pass the same ones around in the lounge and it is more fun to be there with other people to chat with before dinner!!
