Norwegian Pearl VS. Emerald Princess?

I am planning a Thanksgiving cruise for my family of 5, and am trying to decide between the Norwegian Pearl 9-day VS. the Emerald Princess 10-day cruise. For the 2 inside cabins that we would get, the price is about the same. Both do Southern Caribbean, but different itineraries. (Dominican Republic, Tortola, Antigua, Barbados, St. Lucia on N.P. VS. Aruba, Bonaire, Grenada, Dominica, St. Thomas, Princess Cays on E.P.) N.P. will be about a year old and E.P. will be about 7 months old, so not much difference there. At first, I thought definitely go with the 10-day just because it's a day longer! But, I want to consider which would be the best itinerary, best ship, best meals, best service, best overall, etc. Any experiences or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
