Dream - New Orleans shore excursion?

There are no shore excursions on NCL's website for the Dream. I phoned NCL and they said there will be a New Orleans shore excursion, but no info for another couple of weeks. Have any of you taken the post-cruise New Orleans excursion? If so, would you describe it and tell me what time I should book my departure flight? Also, does the excursion drop you off at the airport? Would you recommend the excursion? I'm assuming that there is just one to choose.
