UBinfwa Posted April 13, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2007 Can you connect the Balconies [open the dividers] between side by side balconies on the Oosterdam ? We recently did it on the Caribbean Princess Thanks:rolleyes:
Old As Dirt Mom Posted April 13, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2007 Hi UB: Don't know about the Oosterdam, but you could do it on the Zaandam and Amsterdam. Just ask your room steward when you're onboard. It's very nice when you're traveling with friends and/or family to be able to access each other's cabins that way.:)
InTheWASide Posted April 13, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 13, 2007 You absolutely can! Enjoy your MASSIVE balcony when you have a few in a row! :)
michmike Posted April 13, 2007 #4 Share Posted April 13, 2007 You just need to have an understanding with your friends that you either a) will keep drapes closed when in your room or b) will stay on your side of the balcony when out there by yourself. Otherwise you may get to know them just a tad better than you might like.. *L* But yes, you can connect them and it makes for a nice area to share with friends. senator6 Posted April 13, 2007 #5 Share Posted April 13, 2007 It was great, we had an SY and our Son & DIL had a VB- worked out very well with plenty of room for all four of us- had every breakfast out there during the cruise. We asked our cabin steward to open the door when we got on board and door stayed open for the entire cruise. There is still a divider between the two verandas and only one person at a time can walk between the two verandas.
