If you are just staying for the day and going to Palm Beach, don't rent a car. Palm Beach is a bit busy. I don't think the logistics of the car would be worth it. Take the 10A bus. Fast, cheap, and simple. Multiple days and locations (other than Oranjestad) are another matter.

Yes, if Palm beach were the only item on the agenda, I would agree. But we are considering renting a car to drive around the island and see some of the sights, and then we want to finish up with a stop at Palm Beach. That's why I asked.

 

I should point out that, since I posted my query, Moomba Beach responded to an email I sent them and told me that they have free parking for patrons.
