Covered pool on the Zaandam and a May 9th sailing to Alaska

With the pool cover over the Lido pool area, it gets plenty toasty and warm in there. We were on the Zaandam to Alaska last August, and believe me, on the sea days we definitely needed that pool cover! Out on the decks we'd be bundled up in our jackets, but by the pool you could wear shorts and bathing suits with no problem!:) The pool felt plenty warm to us, but then we're inhabitants of the Pacific Northwest:) Aaaah, I now see that you're a native of these parts, too, so you will definitely enjoy sitting by the pool on the Zaandam!
