Something to do along with Mt. Gay tour???

My DH and I are interested in the Mt. Gay distillery tour when we're in Barbados in June. What's the best way to get there, and is it worth it?

 

Also, is there something else interesting that would be easily combined with that tour? We are not interested in water sports, beaches, etc....something more historical or nature oriented.

 

Any help is appreciated!
