LuckyCop Posted May 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2007 We are cruising Carnival Freedom, and marrying on shore, St. Thomas, using private planners. We would like to have the wedding early, around 10:30, so guests have the rest of the day to tour the island. After dinner, we want to have a small reception with an open bar. Since we will be STUFFED following dinner....what are your suggestions for food, snacks, etc (in addition to the wedding cake)? A dessert bar would be awesome! We will probably hire the DJ if that's an option at the time. I would love suggestions and feedback! Thank you!!
mandabear Posted May 21, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2007 I love the dessert bar idea, it's one of my favorite types of wedding food. Are you having the reception immediately after dinner or will there be a break in between?
NurseBeth Posted May 21, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2007 I'm not sure on prices for receptions since all of the prices on the website are for the entire cermony & reception package. You should probably give them a call and ask what type of deal they could give you on a reception ONLY package.
finn1913 Posted May 21, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 21, 2007 Try contacting Group Services for Carnival. That way you can bypass TWE. Cheers, Ann
LuckyCop Posted May 22, 2007 Author #5 Share Posted May 22, 2007 We are planning the reception immediately after dinner. Hopefully an hour or so, then folks can do their own thing! Thank you for your suggestions!
