We will be on a Transatlantic cruise next year and when we get to Europe plan on travelling around by train.... I have heard there is a service that will ship luggage home.... Does anyone know who that is and a contact number..... thanks

These services use DHL or Fedex. It's rather expensive but would be well worth it if you don't want to haul it around Europe. There was a list of them posted on the Cunard board a while back.

If you can find a box, you can ship it home via the Post Office. Will take about 3 weeks for surface, but the cost will be 1/3 of what the shipping services are.

I have shipped all kinds of stuff home from all over the world. And I am in the global logistics business, so know this works well. I insure heavily, but have NEVER had a problem. MAKE SURE you put USED CLOTHING-PERSONAL ITEMS on USA import manifest. Otherwise, Customs COULD charge you import duties on your own clothes.
