Jane and I are now sitting in Heathrow Airport waiting to board our flight to Vancouver and then onto Portland OR at the start of our Silver Wedding Anniversary trip.

 

Having texted each other for so many months I am looking forward to meeting you all on the cruise next Friday.

 

 

We now have nearly 16 hours travel ahead of us, but having splashed out for Business First with Air Canada it should be more comfortable than some other flights we have been on.

 

I couldn't beleve we needed 4 suitcases and 2 carry-ons - the KILT is coming, together with the Scout uniform.

 

From Wednesday 18th (Jane's birthday) we are staying at the Seattle Hilton - if you are in the area please make contact!

 

The weather looks pretty good, that is, if your weather forecasting is better than ours in the UK.

Hi Rodney and Jane,

 

We head out on Sunday August 15th to Seattle for one night and then on Monday August 16th we are driving to Mount Rainier National Park until the 20th-Cruise Day!

Happy Birthday wishes to Jane! My husband, Doug's birthday is on Sunday August 15th! We will be celebrating in Seattle.

We can't wait until the cruise. I hope we have nice weather, but it doesn't matter at this point. That is one thing we cannot control! Enjoy your stay in Oregon and Seattle. We are looking forward to meeting everyone on the cruise.
