New York Question

We will be on the Grand Princess in October. Will dock at the Brooklyn Pier and I am wondering how far it is to the New York Metropolian Museum? Also any idea of the cost of a cab from the pier to the museum?

The Met, as we New Yorkers call it, is at 1000 Fifth Avenue at 82nd Street in Manhattan its about a $30-35 cab ride. Its about 10 miles. A local car service will be about the same. I can give you the public transportation alternative but I suggest using the car service or a cab.

If in Brooklyn, you should check out the Brooklyn Museum of Art. It's quite underrated and their Egyptian galleries actually are one of the top 3 in the world- after Cairo & London.
