cruisetour before cruise

We are leaving on Tues. for a 3 day land tour in Alaska and boarding our ship on Fri. We are trying to pack seperate luggage for the land tour. Can anyone tell me if we need nicer clothes for the evenings or can we just wear our daytime stuff?

You really will be fine with your daytime clothing. There really is no dining room dress code on the cruise tour.

 

It is wonderful and you'll enjoy it however you're dressed! Went three years ago and would go again tomorrow.

DW & I took a 5 day Land + Cruise Alaska CruiseTour in 2005 (Canadian Rockies). Tour part had no dress code at all. We stayed in some very nice hotels (the Fairmont-Lake Louise dining room did have a formal/semi-formal dress code.) and dress was casual. The train trip from Banff to Vancouver was breathtaking. The Sheraton Wall in Vancouver is really nice, but tourist dress is fine. Enjoy yourself where ever you are going.
