NCL Majesty...Anyone used Virgin Mobile?

Is a Virgin Mobile pre-paid phone plan a good option for texting or calling friends on board or at home? I'm seeing some very high prices per minute for other phone plans. Thanks!

I love my Virgin!!;) And hd no problems at all when we were on the Majesty (April 2006) and on the Spirit (April 2007)

I didn't get any tacked on or roaming fees and texting was only 5 cents each:)
