2 EOS ?'s

We are leaving on the 5 day Bermuda cruise next month on EOS. We booked this several months ago and got the last aft E1.

 

2 questions since it has been some time since we sailed RCCL (been sailing NCL the past 4 years).

 

First, since we booked several months ago and requested a table for two at the late seating, what do you feel are our chances of getting that request or what have been experiences out there?

 

Next, we want to eat at Portifino's at least once (perhaps 2 times). When is it best to make reservations for this and how difficult is it to get reservations? Any suggestions as to which night(s) would be best?

 

Last, if we carry on our luggage (we are packing light this cruise) and want to carry it off, is there any kind of express debarkation for those who are carrying off their lugguge?

 

We are greatly looking forward to this cruise and sailing with RCCL again. Thanks for your help and answers.

When you say eating at Portifino I guess you mean Explorer not Enchantment of the Seas.

Your chances of getting a late seating without having to go the first night to the desk are not that good. Especially since you want a table for two.

Go right away to Portifino and book your reservation, the speciality restaurants fill up fast. I don't know your tastes so I can't tell you which night is best for you.

There is a special express check out for people who do not disembark with checked luggage.

It is possible, but depends on the number of other couples asking for the same. The best bet is to go the dining room and ask about it. (Do this second - you'll see why later)

 

Next, we want to eat at Portifino's at least once (perhaps 2 times). When is it best to make reservations for this and how difficult is it to get reservations? Any suggestions as to which night(s) would be best?

 

The best thing to do is to go right to Portifino's as soon as you board. This way you will get your choice of days and times. (Then go to the dining room and check out your table - request a change if it is not to your liking).

Yes, you can ask for the first embarkation which will start after the ship has been cleared at the pier.
