Galaxy with kids and teens?

My girlfriend is sailing on Galaxy January 4th 2008 and is thinking about taking her two girls. They are 11 and 14 years of age. It is a 12 day southern caribbean sailing from San Juan. She sailed celebrity(same class) with her husband last year and found it was an older crowd 45-60ish, wondering if the crowd would be the same on Galaxy. Thanks in advance!

There were about 700 persons under the age of 18 on our July 2 Galaxy cruise. But then again it was summer. Don't know about January.

January, 12 day cruise will most likely mean a considerably older crowd than what you consider old (45-60) and virtually no children.

We are sailing on Galaxy March 7 for 10 nights with our 12 and 15 year old kids. Frankly, I think traveling when there are fewer kids is a great thing and my kids like it too. There is more room in the pools, more attention on them and less hustle and bustle.

If kids are not on school vacation like they are Presidents week in NY, or Easter/Passover you will have an older crowd but there will be programs for your kids.
