I have been to Hawaii many, many times. AM cruising on Diamond in April. I have always bought Maui Onions for friends. No cheap but they only get a couple. I wrap them pretty in a hawaiian paper bag, they are everywhere. There is never a problem bringing them in like the pineapple. They make all otheer sweet onions seem ordinary.
