Panama Canal Shore Excursions Tips

Help! Any money saving tips on Panama Canal shore excursions from West to East cruise in Sept. Have not researched port of calls yet or really studied shore excursions yet.

Is no one but us cruising from San Francisco to Ft. Lauderdale in late Sept. and early Oct?? Please any info would be greatly appreciated.

We are doing this cruise,we did partial transit through the panama canal in October of last year. It looks like going through the canal,we dont stop and tender to the excursions, it is more of a stop in Puntarenas and then a few excursions, the rainforest aerial tram is the popular one, from our partial transit last year.

We leave San Francisco and travel to Cabo San Lucas and Acapulco and Huratulco, Mexico. Also, Puntarenas, Costa Rica; and Cristobal, Panama; and Aruba. Then back to Ft. Lauderdale to fly home to work again:eek:
