They will do both. I have a group of about 20 going on a tour next month. Not only did they e-mail confirmations, about a week later I received written confirmation along with the my credit card receipt. I've been very impressed with the staff there, always very friendly and responsive.

They sent me a letter and told me when and where i would be picked up. When we got off the ship, they were waiting with a big sign displaying our name. Great tour!

Time for another Cruise!

I'm assuming the posters are referring to Mighty Great Trips? If so, here's their website: http://www.mightygreattrips.com/index.htm

Thanks Nancy! for website for MTG website. I'm fairly new at exploring non-cruiseline excursions. We took our first in Quebec City this last fall and it was the BEST -and went more places with local tour guide that our friends had with the cruise tour.

After Capt Larrys we have signed up to do MTG's Combo tour...the city of Juneau and then a Salmon Bake ... one of the most reasonable priced tours we have seen in Alaska. In making the reservation the MTG people said that if for some reason Capt Larry's bus was running a bit late coming back from the boat that it would not be a problem. They said they can talk to each other via radio and pick a place to meet so that we could transfer to the MGT bus. That sounded like 2 companies that work closely together to please their Alaskan visitors
