Upgrades at the pier for 3 or 4 day cruises

Recommended Posts

I've never been on one that isn't full... I think that lots of locals book for the short trips and there aren't many opportunities for upgrading. At least that has been my experience. The 4 day midweek cruise may have a little more space but the three day over the weekends are pretty tight. I'm taking a group of 92 in October and the ship is completely full. Some of our folks booked guarantee and noone got an upgrade from the guarantee category at which they booked. So make sure you're happy enough with your original category booking because you may not have an opportunity to change!

Cheers -

I agree with imlisad...

We tried to upgrade last december on Sov. and the ship was full. We are travelling again in October (10/4-10/8) and the only thing showing is the GS so it seems that we are close to full again.

Does not seem to be a lot of luck upgrading on short cruises
