buggerbean Posted August 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2007 Hi All, I'm sailing on the 9/28/2007 Explorer of the Seas to New England / Canada, in cabin number 7620. Anyone here ever have that cabin, and can they tell me anything about it? Counting down the days!
LuvMyVette Posted September 1, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 1, 2007 Hi: Congrats on your hump cabin. I stayed in 8618 last year so I can help you out a little. The view from the hump cabin is really cool. You can see forward/aft and have that floating effect which is pretty neat. You are close to the stairs/elevators and one floor above the Royal Promenade. Many people love being in the center of the ship since it's close to everything and near the stairs/elevators. Last year on our B2B, DH/I had to deal with noise from those chatting/laughing/etc. in the middle of the night by the elevators/stairs. Granted we are light sleepers but we had to move due to the noise for the second part of the B2B. Many people have no problems, some people do.... everyone is different. If it wasn't for the people waking us up every night.. the location was wonderful as well as the view. Explorer is an awesome ship and it's my favorite. Will be on Explorer in nine days and can't wait. Have a fantastic cruise and enjoy! Sea ya!
