bakechef Posted August 30, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2007 Just finishing the packing, and will be on the road to Port Canaveral tomorrow!:D I have been waiting a long time to give Carnival a try, and am so excited! The icing on the cake is that we are going with a really fun bunch of friends, a couple of them have never cruised before. I haven't even cruised with carnival yet, and I have a feeling that they will become my favorite cruiseline. This week at work has been torture!!!!!!!!! I look forward to writing a review when I return, and posting a bunch of pictures! MAC

This week at work has been torture!!!!!!!!! I look forward to writing a review when I return, and posting a bunch of pictures! MAC Have a fabulous cruise! Here are a few "don't miss" things for the Glory: 1) Chocolate Buffet - one day during your trip, they will have a chocolate buffet, it's is to die for!!! 2) If you plan on shopping in the ports, go see Gail (she's in the corner of the casino just as you go out the doors), she'll have coupons, maps, etc. (Or you can go to her shopping lecture and get them). 3) Eat breakfast in the dining room (I think it is the Platinum dining room), it's open seating and is so much better than going through a line. 4) On the 7th deck, if you go to the end of the hallway, you will find a secret door to a deck just forward of the bridge. It's a secluded deck no one seems to know about;) ....great to watch the sunset! 5) Ask at the purser's desk for your free pack of playing cards. 6) Take a hour or so to walk the entire ship, it's really a beautiful ship! Enjoy your cruise!!!!
