Advice to do a few things in St. Kitts

This is our 2nd visit to St. Kitts and we are interested in doing only a few things. The 2 main things we want to do are Brimstone Hill and South Friars Bay (for snorkeling??? ideas??) and having a beverage at Sunset Beach or?? (again, ideas??) What would be the best way to go about doing these things? Should we rent a car and do these by ourselves? I wouldn't mind a couple of easy stops thrown in the mix but the main things we want to do is the fort and South Friars Bay (??). Our cruise is in port from 11am to 6pm. Where would be a nice lunch stop between the two or should we stop at the ship for lunch and then go to S.F.B.? Any advice is appreciated.

South Friars is a great place to snorkel and relax. Another beach bar you can visit on South Friar's is Shipwreck's. Another beach you might enjoy is Cockleshell, home of Lion's Beach Bar.

Since you know the island already you can rent a car which gives you more freedom. Since you don't have a lot of time, I recommend you contact Thenford Grey http://***** you can take you to Brimstone Hill and then the beach, with a stop for lunch.

Avis is located on Bay Road in Basseterre. You will need to get a license and driving is on the left. http://www.horsfords.com/horsford/avis

For lunch you can visit Ballahoo's located in Basseterre, not far from Port Zante. http://www.ballahoo.com
