Billymac Posted September 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2007 We are looking at sailing on the Star in January for the Mexican Riviera cruise. Does anyone have any information regarding taxi or limo costs from LAX to the pier? How far is it from LAX to the pier? Thanks
JesJ Posted September 19, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2007 I prefer to ride in style, take a limo, it really won't be much more than a taxi and you can drink on the way to the ship!!! Also the porters will be coming to you to take your bags (make sure to tip them well) You're on vacation, why not pamper yourself a little bit!!!! Cruisin' Chick Posted September 21, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 21, 2007 NCL Star does port at Long Beach.:) Check out this web site. have a nice cruise. Charles http://www.sanpedro.com/spcom/cruiscal.htm Actually, San Pedro is the Port of LA, not Long Beach. Usually only Carnival ships dock in Long Beach, which is not too far away. But you'll want to make sure you tell the shuttle service or the taxi driver which one you're going to, as you don't won't to end up in the wrong port (waste of time and money). I checked cruisecal. com and the Star is listed for Los Angeles thru at least December.
