What to expect from a Royal Suite?- Legend of the Seas

Greetings!

 

My family and I are new to cruising and therefore, this is my first post! I would greatly appreciate your expertise here, as it would be very helpful to know what we should expect from a Royal Suite in as far as service and ammenities. I would also assume that more is expected out of us? ($$$) :) You're probably thinking, "Wow, a RS for their first cruise?" Well, we got such a great deal, and we have 3 kids (16, 12 & 8), that we could really use the room. We're sailing to the Southern Caribbean on Legend of the Seas. I see that it's an older ship. Does anyone know if its been refurbished recently? Again, I would be very appreciative of your, "Cruising wisdom." Many thanks! :D
