Jacket in Specialty Restaurants

Going on Princess again for the first time in a long time and DH was wondering if he needed a sport coat for the specialty restaurants or if a nice long sleeve shirt will do. He is taking his tux for formal night and does not want to take a sport coat if not necessary. We are trying to cut down on baggage.

It sure would ne nice if he did bring along and wear the jacket. Easiest way to bring along a sports jacket or blazer is to wear it for embarkation and if you are flying in wear it on board the plane. Be better than the crowd and you will be treated better than the crowd.
