Toll Free Calls from Ship??

Please help!! Does anyone know the charge for making a toll free (1-800) call from the ship? We can call home via toll free line and will need to check regularly on ailing mother while away. I am afraid we won't have cell coverage. We are sailing on Dawn Princess Vancouver to Whitter. Thanks for your help.

I don't think there is such a thing as "toll free" on ships.. someone will correct me if I'm wrong.. you still use satellite to connect. However if you get a good phone card (if you don't have cellphone) you should be able to call from port each day very easily.. we have done that with no problem. You can leave ship number with family in the event they need to reach you while not in port???
