We will be calling at Crown Bay on our next Princess Cruise. Does anyone know if it's a walkable distance into Charlotte Amalie?

We will be calling at Crown Bay on our next Princess Cruise. Does anyone know if it's a walkable distance into Charlotte Amalie?

I would estimate its at least an hour walk to the downtown and not a very nice walk either. It is further from Crown Bay to the downtown than Havensight. Take the open air taxi for $5

Crown Bay to CA is about 1.7 miles, flat, along a main road, sidewalk most of the way, largely not scenic except for the part that is along the harbor apron.

Absolutely take a taxi. The walk is long and along busy streets. Also, the walk is not the best part of town either. There are better ways to see St. Thomas! :)

We've always enjoyed the walk from Havensight. I just wondered if the other port was a walkable distance.
