Question on sail away on the Crown Princess

We will be sailing on this ship on January 19th. Does anyone know what there is to do on the ship that first day/night if the ship does not sail until 11:00 pm? According to what I have read, the muster drill is at approx 8:00 and then what? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

9-11pm: Scholarship @ Sea Computer

9:15pm: Welcome aboard Disco with DJ and Kareoke at 11:15pm in Club Fusion

I must guess that Sabatini's & the Grill are open too.

Thanks for the details. We did this in end of March this year and after reading this, it feels like it will be our first time again in April - there is so much we didn't get to do (not enough hours in the day).

 

Do you know where the Jamaican Me Crazy Sailaway Party was? I think we were in the casino last time and missed it!

 

Also - does anyone know what time there is an orientation, or sign up for the kids club - in our case, Remix 13-17. I know if we don't get the kids there the first day, they will not be motivated to give it a try and meet other teens.

Juan Carlos is a must see even if your not into that type of music. This guy is in the same league as Carlos Santana. Terrific show :)

Thanks for the great info Ancldaca. Looks like there will be plenty to keep us busy. We sailed on Destiny from San Juan last year and were able to drop our luggage with the porters and without even checking in for the ship, we headed out to see some of Old San Juan. I assume we will be able to do the same thing on the Crown? There is so much to see in Old San Juan and some of our group wants to tour before boarding. The rest of them want to board and check out what the ship offers. The info you provided is great and I appreciate your help. I know we will have a great time, after all we will be cruising, in a warm place and will not be at work.

The sailaway party is right on deck-you can't miss it. I don't think casino opens until ship is at sea.
